Not all who wander are lost.

J.R.R. Tolkien

About Us

WanderLost started with a simple thought:
What if I stopped spending my money on things… and instead invested it in experiences and memories?

In 2021, I made a decision that changed everything. Instead of chasing stuff that eventually ended up forgotten in a closet, I chose to feed my soul.

That choice didn’t just transform how I traveled — it transformed my relationship with my daughter.

We began traveling together — laughing more, talking deeper, healing in quiet hotel rooms and loud theme parks, discovering that experiences have a way of bringing you back to each other. Somewhere between the chaos of airports, travel blunders, and spontaneous detours, we both grew. Together.

And then there was solo travel.

Solo travel has become one of the most important parts of my WanderLost story. Like many women, I lost myself a little (well, a lot) along the way — in motherhood, relationships, and trauma. Traveling alone became my way back. A way to reconnect, find clarity, and remember who I am.

It teaches me confidence, trust, and how powerful it is to enjoy your own company. It reminds me that I am capable, curious, and allowed to take up space in the world — all by myself.

That said, WanderLost isn’t about one “right” way to travel.

You can be WanderLost:

  • traveling solo
  • exploring with your kids
  • wandering with a partner or friends
  • or simply choosing experiences over expectations

Just before turning 40, I leaned fully into that concept by spontaneously buying a GoWild! Pass from Frontier Airlines and said yes to adventure, flexibility, and getting lost on purpose.

From that moment on, travel stopped being about destinations and started being about direction. WanderLost is a mindset — not a map — built on solo journeys, shared memories, and learning to trust your inner compass.

Sometimes I wander alone. Sometimes with my favorite humans. Always with curiosity and a sense of wonder.
